Greg lives next door to Fred with his parents. Greg and his best friend are convinced that their neighbour has been replaced by an alien and set out to prove it. It is an uphill battle to try to prove their theory to the adults in their lives. This job is not easy and the boys need many strategies to reach this end. Will the alien be discovered? Will Greg's parents listen to him? Will Fred ever come back?
