Pryor, Gordon Robert
Gordon Pryor was born into an important family connected to the Pearsons, builders and publishers. They built most of the East End of London in connection with the Church and built the Blackwall Tunnel under the River Thames. They own Penguin Books and other publications. After his national service, he worked in finance and became president of the world’s largest private money transfer and exchange bureau, working in 22 countries with over 2,000 employees. A keen sportsman in cricket and soccer and an expert shot. He recently took up writing; this is his first book, and he is now well into the second book.
